WiFi Speed Test
This tool measures the real performance of your internet connection from your device, reporting your download speed, upload speed, and ping (latency). Download speed shows how quickly you can pull data, upload speed shows how fast you can send it, and ping measures the delay before data starts moving.
Running a test helps you confirm whether you are actually getting the speed your plan promises, troubleshoot buffering and lag, and compare WiFi against mobile data. It is useful before a video call, an online exam, a gaming session, or when deciding whether to upgrade your package.
How to read your results
Speeds are shown in megabits per second (Mbps). Higher download and upload numbers are better, while a lower ping is better, especially for calls and gaming. Streaming high definition video typically needs only a few Mbps, while several devices at once benefit from much more.
For an accurate reading, close heavy apps and downloads, stay near your router, and run the test more than once. If your measured speed is far below your subscription, try restarting the router, moving closer, or switching to a 5GHz band before contacting your provider.
