❓ FAQ About Vision 2030

Saudi Vision 2030 is an ambitious strategic plan launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in 2016 to transform Saudi Arabia into a diversified, non-oil dependent economy. It is built on three pillars: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.

Key achievements include: exceeding the women workforce participation target (33.6% vs 30% target), increasing home ownership to 63.74%, launching mega projects like NEOM, Qiddiya, and Red Sea Project, and significantly developing the entertainment and tourism sectors.

The target date for achieving Vision goals is 2030. Some targets have been achieved early, such as women workforce participation, while work continues on other goals through the Vision Realization Programs implementation plans.

Main programs include: Housing Program (Sakani), National Transformation Program, Quality of Life Program, Financial Sector Development Program, Public Investment Fund Program, and National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).

The Vision positively impacts citizens through: increased job opportunities and reduced unemployment, easier home ownership via housing support, improved quality of life through entertainment and cultural facilities, enhanced health and education services, and women economic and social empowerment.
