About the Khatma

A khatma means reading the entire Quran from Al-Fatiha to An-Nas. The mushaf has 604 pages across 30 juz, each about 20 pages. Many Muslims aim for one or more khatmas during Ramadan. The Quran is 604 pages in the Madani mushaf. To finish it in 30 days you read about 20 pages a day (roughly one juz). For two khatmas you read 40 pages a day (two juz).

The Quran has 30 juz, each about 20 pages. Daily juz = daily pages ÷ 20. For example, 20 pages = one juz per day.
