👥 Muqeem Services Guide

Muqeem is the unified electronic platform under the Directorate General of Passports, providing all electronic services related to residents and visitors in Saudi Arabia.

Platform Objectives:

• Facilitate Iqama and visa renewal procedures
• Provide resident and dependent services electronically
• Enable easy payment of fees and fines
• Inquire about transaction status
• Improve beneficiary experience

Beneficiary Categories:

• Residents: Iqama holders in the Kingdom
• Sponsors: Employers and individual sponsors
• Visitors: Various visa holders
• Dependents: Resident family members

1️⃣ Iqama Renewal

Service to renew Iqama validity electronically before expiration.

Renewal Steps:

1. Login to Muqeem platform via Absher or National Access
2. Select "Iqama Renewal" service
3. Choose resident to renew Iqama for
4. Verify basic information
5. Select renewal period (one or two years)
6. Review applicable fees
7. Pay fees electronically (Mada, Visa, Mastercard)
8. Receive renewed Iqama instantly
9. Print Iqama or save to mobile

Terms and Requirements:

• Iqama must be valid or expired for not more than 6 months
• No traffic fines or pending violations
• Resident's employment status must be valid
• Passport validity of at least 6 months
• No absconding or runaway reports

Fees (2024):

• One Year Renewal: 650 SAR (Iqama fee) + 100 SAR (work permit)
• Two Year Renewal: 1,300 SAR (Iqama fee) + 200 SAR (work permit)
• Additional Costs:
  • Dependent fees (based on number)
  • Health insurance fees (if not paid)
  • Fines (if any)

Free service to verify Iqama validity and details.

Inquiry Methods:

1. Via Muqeem Platform:
   • Login to Muqeem
   • Select "Iqama Validity Inquiry"
   • Enter Iqama number or border number
   • View details instantly
2. Via SMS:
   • Send Iqama number to 988877
   • Receive SMS with details
3. Via Absher App:
   • Access Absher Individuals
   • Passport Services
   • Iqama Inquiry

Available Information:

• Issue and expiry dates
• Registered profession
• Iqama status (valid/expired)
• Sponsor details
• Border number

3️⃣ Print Iqama

Service to print electronic copy of Iqama.

Steps:

1. Login to Muqeem platform
2. Select "Print Iqama"
3. Choose Iqama to print
4. Download PDF file
5. Print on A4 paper

1️⃣ Exit/Reentry Visa Issuance

Visa allowing resident to leave and return to the Kingdom within specified period.

Visa Types:

• Single Exit/Reentry: Valid for one trip
• Multiple Exit/Reentry: Valid for multiple trips during validity period

Issuance Steps:

1. Login to Muqeem platform
2. Select "Exit/Reentry Visa Issuance"
3. Choose resident
4. Select visa type (single or multiple)
5. Choose validity period:
   • Two months
   • Three months
   • Six months
6. Review fees
7. Pay electronically
8. Receive visa instantly

Fees:

• Single Exit/Reentry:
  • Two months: 200 SAR
  • Three months: 300 SAR
• Multiple Exit/Reentry:
  • Three months: 500 SAR
  • Six months: 1,000 SAR

Requirements:

• Valid Iqama for at least 3 months
• Valid passport
• No absconding or runaway reports
• Valid employment status
• No pending cases or violations

2️⃣ Exit/Reentry Visa Extension

Service to extend visa validity before expiration.

Steps:

1. Login to Muqeem
2. Select "Extend Exit/Reentry Visa"
3. Choose visa to extend
4. Select additional period
5. Pay fees
6. Receive extended visa

Notes:

• Can extend at least 15 days before visa expiration
• Maximum extension: 6 months total
• Extension fees similar to issuance fees

3️⃣ Final Exit Visa Issuance

Visa for final departure from the Kingdom with Iqama cancellation.

Cases:

• Employment contract end
• Sponsorship transfer outside Kingdom
• Desire to leave job

Steps:

1. Login to Muqeem
2. Select "Final Exit Visa Issuance"
3. Choose resident
4. Choose validity period (60 or 90 days)
5. Pay fees (200 SAR)
6. Receive visa

Dependent Fees

Monthly fees imposed on dependents (resident family members).

Monthly Fee Schedule:

• Children up to 18 years old
• Unmarried daughters (no age limit)
• Family members with disabilities
• Scholarship students
• Healthcare sector employee dependents

1. Login to Muqeem platform
2. Select "Pay Dependent Fees"
3. View dues
4. Select dependents to pay for
5. Choose period (month, 3 months, 6 months, year)
6. Pay electronically
7. Receive payment receipt
