Iqama Renewal Reminder
The Iqama Renewal Reminder is a free tool that helps expatriates and residents in Saudi Arabia track their residence permit expiry date and stay ahead of the renewal deadline. Instead of relying on memory, you can record your expiry and see at a glance how much time is left, when the renewal window opens, and an estimate of the renewal costs and potential penalties involved.
Because Iqama validity follows the Hijri calendar, expiry dates can shift relative to the Gregorian months you plan around. The reminder keeps both in view so a missed conversion does not turn into a lapsed permit. This is especially helpful for families managing several permits, each with its own end date and dependent fees.
Avoid late fees and disruptions
Renewing before expiry helps you avoid late penalties, keeps dependents covered, and prevents interruptions to work, banking, and travel. As a practical habit, set your reminder a few weeks ahead so there is time to settle the dependent fee, work permit charges, and any outstanding obligations. The figures shown are for planning only; always confirm exact dates, fees, and penalty amounts through official government channels, as these are updated from time to time.
