⚠️ انتبه
عند وجود خصمين متتاليين (مثلاً 25% ثم 20%)، يُطبق الخصم الثاني على السعر بعد الخصم الأول، وليس على السعر الأصلي. لذلك 25% + 20% لا يساوي 45%، بل يساوي 40%.
Frequently Asked Questions About Discounts
Multiply the original price by the discount percentage divided by 100, then subtract from the original price. Example: item at 200 SAR with 30% off: 200 × 30 ÷ 100 = 60 SAR discount, final price = 140 SAR.
Subtract the new price from the old price, divide by the old price, and multiply by 100. Example: old price 500, new price 350: (500-350) ÷ 500 × 100 = 30% discount.
Usually the discount is applied to the price before tax, then 15% VAT is calculated on the discounted price. However, some stores display prices inclusive of tax.
A direct discount is applied once on the original price. Stacked discounts apply one after another. For example, 20% then 10% off does not equal 30%, but only 28% because the second discount applies to the already-reduced price.
