Fuel Consumption Tracker

Track Your Car Fuel Consumption

This tracker helps you measure how much fuel your car actually uses so you can monitor running costs and spot problems early. By entering the distance you have driven and the amount of fuel you added, the tool calculates your real-world consumption, typically expressed as litres per 100 kilometres or as kilometres per litre.

The most reliable method is the full-to-full approach: fill the tank completely, reset your trip meter, drive normally, then refill to full again. The fuel it takes to top up, divided by the distance shown on the trip meter, gives an accurate figure for that tank. Repeating this over several fill-ups smooths out the effect of one-off long trips or heavy traffic.

Why It Matters

Watching your consumption over time tells you more than a single reading. A gradual rise can point to under-inflated tyres, a clogged air filter, extra weight in the boot, or simply more city driving. Knowing your true figure also lets you budget fuel costs for a trip and compare the economy of one vehicle against another. Because everything is calculated in your browser, your numbers stay private and results appear instantly on phone or desktop.
