Three-Semester System:
The Ministry of Education applies the three-semester system in all schools across the Kingdom, dividing the academic year into three equal semesters.
System Benefits:
- Increase actual study days to 183 days
- Reduce academic pressure on students
- Regular extended breaks throughout the year
- Improve education quality and academic achievement
Official Holidays:
- National Day Holiday: 4 days (September 23)
- Founding Day Holiday: 4 days (February 22)
- Eid Al-Fitr Holiday: 13 days
- Extended Weekends: Several throughout the year
Semester Breaks:
- First Semester Break: 10 days
- Mid-Second Semester Break: 7 days
- Second Semester Break: 10 days
- Summer Vacation: From end of June to mid-August
