💰 Housing Support Services

1️⃣ Housing Support Application

Service to apply for housing support from Ministry of Housing.

Eligibility Conditions:
  • Must be Saudi citizen
  • Minimum age of 25 years
  • Never received housing support before
  • Applicant or spouse does not own residential unit
  • No previous housing loan
  • Appropriate family monthly income
Application Steps:
  1. Register on Sakani platform via National Access
  2. Complete personal and family information
  3. Select "Apply for Housing Support"
  4. Choose support type:
    • Purchase ready unit
    • Build home
    • Purchase land
  5. Enter family monthly income data
  6. Upload required documents:
    • National ID copy
    • Income proof (for employees)
    • Family record (if any)
  7. Review data and accept declarations
  8. Submit application
  9. Track application status via platform
Housing Support Amount:
Family Monthly Income Support Amount
Less than 10,000 SAR 500,000 SAR
10,000 - 14,000 SAR 400,000 SAR
14,000 - 18,000 SAR 300,000 SAR
18,000 - 22,000 SAR 200,000 SAR
More than 22,000 SAR 150,000 SAR
Note: Total family income (husband + wife) is calculated when assessing eligibility.
Processing Time:
  • Application review: 3 to 5 business days
  • Eligibility assessment: 2 to 4 weeks
  • Eligibility certificate issuance: Immediately after approval

2️⃣ Application Status Inquiry

Service to inquire about housing support application status and processing stages.

Inquiry Steps:
  1. Login to Sakani platform
  2. Go to "My Applications"
  3. View application details
  4. Track stages:
    • Received: Under review
    • Under Assessment: Eligibility being assessed
    • Additional Info: Data update required
    • Accepted: Application approved
    • Rejected: Conditions not met

3️⃣ Eligibility Certificate

Certificate proving citizen's eligibility for housing support and its amount.

Certificate Uses:
  • Reserve residential unit from Sakani
  • Obtain supported real estate loan
  • Purchase land and self-build
  • Apply for financing options
Certificate Validity:
  • Valid for one year from issuance
  • Can be renewed if not utilized
  • Cancelled upon using support

🏘️ Unit Reservation Services

1️⃣ Reserve Ready Residential Unit

Service to reserve ready apartment or villa from available projects on Sakani platform.

Reservation Steps:
  1. Login to Sakani platform
  2. Go to "Interactive Map"
  3. Browse available projects by:
    • Region and city
    • Unit type (apartment, villa, townhouse)
    • Number of rooms
    • Price
  4. View project and unit details
  5. Select suitable unit
  6. Review unit details:
    • Area
    • Total price
    • Architectural plan
    • Location
    • Delivery date
  7. Choose payment method:
    • Use housing support
    • Bank financing
    • Cash payment
  8. Pay reservation deposit (usually 10% of value)
  9. Receive booking confirmation
  10. Complete financing procedures (within 30 days)
Required Documents:
  • National ID
  • Eligibility certificate (if any)
  • Income proof
  • Bank statement
  • Salary certificate (for employees)
Notice: Must complete financing procedures within 30 days of reservation, otherwise reservation will be cancelled.

2️⃣ Reserve Residential Land

Service to reserve residential land for self-building.

Steps:
  1. Login to Sakani
  2. Select "Residential Lands"
  3. Browse available lands by region
  4. Select suitable land
  5. Review land details:
    • Area
    • Price
    • Location
    • Available services
  6. Reserve land
  7. Pay land value or use support
  8. Receive ownership deed
Important Notes:
  • Can use housing support for land purchase and building
  • Must start construction within two years of purchase
  • Sakani provides supported loans for self-building
  • Must obtain building permit from municipality

3️⃣ Cancel or Modify Reservation

Service to cancel or modify previous reservation.

Cancellation Conditions:
  • Can cancel within 7 days of reservation without fees
  • After 7 days: 5% of reservation value deducted
  • Cannot cancel after ownership deed issuance
Cancellation Steps:
  1. Login to Sakani
  2. Go to "My Reservations"
  3. Select reservation to cancel
  4. Click "Request Cancellation"
  5. Specify cancellation reason
  6. Confirm cancellation
  7. Refund within 14 business days
