🏗️ Building and Construction Services

1️⃣ Building Permit Issuance

An electronic service that allows the owner or their agent to request a new building permit.

Service Steps:
  1. Login to Balady platform using National Access (Nafath)
  2. Select "Building Permit" from services menu
  3. Choose type of building permit (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.)
  4. Enter land details (deed number, area, location)
  5. Upload approved engineering plans
  6. Upload required documents
  7. Review data and accept terms and conditions
  8. Pay fees electronically
  9. Submit request and track status
  10. Receive permit electronically after approval

2️⃣ Building Permit Renewal

Renewal Steps:

  2. Go to "My Permits" from main menu
  3. Select permit to renew
  4. Click "Renew Permit"
  5. Update data if necessary
  6. Upload recent documents (if any)
  7. Pay renewal fees
  8. Receive renewed permit electronically
Important Notes:
  • Can renew 60 days before permit expiration
  • Building permit valid for one year from issuance
  • Can renew up to 3 times maximum
  • After renewals expire, new permit required

3️⃣ Building Completion Certificate

Certificate proving building completion according to approved plans and meeting all requirements.

Steps to Obtain Certificate:
  1. Complete building according to approved plans
  2. Login to Balady platform
  3. Select "Building Completion Certificate"
  4. Select related building permit
  5. Upload photos of completed building
  6. Upload engineering office completion report
  7. Request field inspection
  8. Receive municipality inspection team
  9. Receive certificate after approval

Municipal Reports Service

Service allowing citizens and residents to submit municipal reports and observations and track their processing.

Report Types:
  • Cleanliness: Waste accumulation, full containers, unclean streets
  • Lighting: Broken light poles, weak lighting
  • Roads: Potholes, cracks, sidewalk damage
  • Violations: Illegal construction, sidewalk encroachment, illegal advertisements
  • Parks: Neglected parks, broken equipment, lack of maintenance
  • Sewage: Blockages, bad odors, leaks

  1. Login to Balady platform (can report without registration)
  2. Select "Submit Report" from menu
